Taking Photographs

The pictures that I took these last few days (well, more than a few) were of a cup of tea, and a book. It was difficult in different ways, but it was easier in others. It was kind of hard to have to take so many pictures of one little thing. I thought it was fun, but it took a lot of time for me to do it, probably a couple hours.

For taking pictures of the teacup, it took a little bit of time just to set it up. I made some tea that I thought was pretty, and to add the the tea-y look I put it in a pretty cup and saucer with biscuits. I couldn't figure out to turn the flash off, for a little while, until I figured it out. So the flash would reflect and make it look kind of funny, in my opinion. It took a while to find different perspectives and find ways to try and make each photo a little different.

For my next set of pictures, I took pictures of a book called Twilight and I did that because I thought it might be cool to take some pictures of the different words and stuff. I turned it to a page that I liked, and I turned a spotlight on it and sometimes changed the different places the light was shining to add shadows.
I thought this assignment was fun, but it also took some time.
